How to remove router from Google’s location-finder

Google has introduced a way to opt out of having your wireless-access point included in the Google Location Server. Go to the settings screen on your router and change the wireless network name (SSID) to something that ends with ‘_nomap’ (without the quotes). For example, ‘O2wireless_nomap’. More information about what the Google Location Server is and why Google is providing the option is available on Google’s official blog http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/11/greater-choice-for-wireless-access.html
